Santa Croce farm
The Poggio all’Oca farm, with its 3 residences, is located on the Santa Croce property and can offer hospitality and accommodation for up to 22 people. The farm, first mentioned in written records at the end of the 1600s, sits on one of the first Maremma foothills located between the sea and Monte Amiata in a secluded area of Tuscany.
The farm buildings are surrounded by 40 hectares of land planted with over one thousand olive trees, fruit trees and two hectares of vineyards. Roe deer roam freely on its beautiful pastures and woods. The large expanse of land is available exclusively to guests of Poggio all’Oca making this an ideal location for family reunions, holidays with friends and even business meetings. It is a perfect retreat to think, write, paint, do yoga, swim in the pool or just walk among the olive trees and enjoy the immeasurable beauty of the surroundings. The surrounding area provides opportunities for many other activities within an easy drive including cities of art, archaeological sites and the inviting sea accessible from the Argentario, Castiglion della Pescaia and the Uccellina Natural Reserve. There are also excellent wine and oil producing estates to discover. The individual farmhouses, spacious and comfortable, can accommodate groups of 2, 4/6, and 10/12 people. During the summer they must be rented by the week, while during off-season they are also available for shorter periods including long weekends.
